No book/writing update really, a bit of potential source material has arrived, and about the only source material in print for that matter! It’s gone quiet on the book front now Vol.2 has arrived. I’ve presented my mate and sanity checker with his copy and I’ve a couple more to dispatch from my authors pack. But sales wise, I won’t know for 6 months how it’s doing when the sales figures are sent to me. I say that, but I have had the sales update for the first 6 months of the year, and volume 1 has crept up to 255 in total. Oddly, there’s 20 copies of Volume 2 sold, which considering it didn’t arrive until August is clever. If that means there were pre-orders, then I’m impressed. Though my suspicion would…

A rather heavier than expected parcel arrived today,  and I’ve unexpectedly become a hardback.   I do like the new cover scheme,  I must admit, but it looks a little odd at the side of Volume 1.  I sincerely hope those that bought the first instalment buy the second, because obviously, that was only half the story, and the second also has a couple of the biggest stories that emerged into what really was a tale of “here’s what we could have had”.    For those that buy Volume 2,  but don’t have its predecessor, they will read chapter one, and maybe not really understand the full context of the…

Different website/domain, same ramblings! For some reason, I decided to buy another domain name and build a new website that’s not my surname. Sadly someone else has Ripples.com and the old ripplesphotography was too much of a mouthful. A little lateral thinking and here we are! I’ve not checked the word out in any way, so for all I know I’m swearing in some obscure tongue, but Google doesn’t bring anything back, so I think I’m safe.
